I know 99% of you Netizens know how to download from youtube, metacafe..heck from every media sites. But there are 1% of you that don’t have a clue. My friend asked me yesterday, how to download videos from a websites..any websites. Well i hope this article will help her .
 
Okay, simple my friend. Follow the steps below.
 
1. Download Firefox. I really don’t know who uses explorer anymore.
 
2. Under ‘Tools’ – click ‘Add-ons’
 
3. Under ‘Get Add-ons’ , type ‘DownloadHelper’ and enter.
 
4. Install – Restart Firefox
 
Go to any website, if you like the video, click the downloadhelper button and download. Oh, you might want to install the ConvertHelper. It helps you to convert the video file, say from flv file to the one you preferred like maybe mpeg4. It will be so much easier and convenient if you install it. No extra converting work..blahh. How you asked? Well when you ready to download, it will give you several options and one of them is ‘download and convert’ and it will ask you to install the ConvertHelper if you choose that options . So just install them.
 
You can also download free software like DVDSoft and Leawo if you like, to download your favorite videos from you tube or convert them straight to mp3s. Pretty easy don’t you think?

Ahh..I’ve been neglecting my blog yet again. Life took over i guess.
 
I have this terrible habit of watching TV without the lights on. In fact if no one’s around, i like to have all the lights switch off. So it will be totally dark. Since i know my way around the house, i have no problem with the dark. What’s my point you wondered? Non..it’s just that i was watching ‘The Eye’ last night and believe it or not, it doesn’t spook me at all.
 
But my imagination can run wild if i watch certain movies with crazy people in it. I don’t know, LIVING crazy psychotic humans with axes and knives creeps me more than ghosts and spirits. They just creep me out..big time. Not zombie movies though because zombie movies are just so much fun.
 
Anyway below are the few examples of movies that i can think of right now and i like that have psychotic killers that makes me shiver and my imagination runs wild… in no random orders.
 
1. The Crazies – The citizens of a small town plagued by a mysterious diseased of some kind. They get it from a mysterious toxin which contaminated their water. This makes go insane and eventually die. Of course before death comes ,they go around killing other people. Imagine that happening in my neighborhood.
 
2. Hills Have Eyes 1 – About a family who are on a dessert far away from civilization. being stalked by a group of psychotic people who live in that desert. Crazy stuff. And they have a baby to add to the suspense.
 
3. Wrong Turn- After taking a wrong turn, six people find themselves trapped in the woods, hunted down by horrible cannibalistic mountain men grossly disfigured because of in-breeding. Phew.
 
4. Vacancy – A young married couple about in the midst of a divorce stuck in a hotel. The hotel owner produce snuff films and guess how he get them made? Creepy and dark.
 
5. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) – A psychotic killer with chainsaw and with an equally deranged and insane family stalking some poor travelers. Guess what’s for dinner?
 
6. Martyrs – OMG! You have to watch this.
 
Honourable Mentions ( Nothing to do with crazy humans, just crazy monsters ).
 
Splice – Two stupid young rebellious scientists created a new species which combined human DNA & animal DNA. Bad idea.
 
Drag me to hell – An ambitious banker, Christine, who refused to give an extended home loan to an old gypsy woman although she begs her. Well it’s bad idea to refused an old gypsy woman because they may know some deadly curses or spells that can ruin your life. Unfortunately for Christine, this old woman did.
 
30 days of Nights Murderous Vampires. Enough said.
 
The Descent – Six explorers become trapped in a cave and ultimately pursued by a strange breed of predators. Dark and what an ending and i will never enter any caves. I don’t care if it’s Batman’s.
 
Disturbing and yet enjoyable. So NOT right.
 

My Husband’s friend recently gave my Husband a sample of his Stainless Steel Stand. He is manufacturing these type of products. He promoted it as a flower stand but really, it can be used for anything. From flower pots to as a stand for steaming your food. Which i did. So easy and convenient. Fits perfectly in my wok. After that i just rinsed and hanged them on my window. Doesn’t take or use much space.


They only promoting one standard size, Which i think is just the right size. It will be perfect for table flower pots and vases. Especially around offices. It won’t rush or tarnish or leave marks on the floor or table.

I was watching Ghost Whisperer the other night and what friendly ghosts! I know for a fact that ghost don’t look like that at all. But this is for our entertainment only i know. So please don’t throw rotten tomatoes at me.
Don’t get me wrong I love horror movies, the paranormal and supernatural stuff too especially when there are Winchesters Boys in it
 
Ghost Whisperer is about a woman who owns a lot of pretty dresses, Melinda Gordon, who by the way not only have the ability to see ghosts but she can also interact with them. Yup..she can actually talk..have a conversation with them without being freak out. Kind of like our bomohs here who can communicate with ghosts..only that Melinda is prettier with even prettier dresses. She then try to help them by completing their unfinished task and relying messages to their love ones. Now, we have plenty of them in Malaysia. Mediums or bomohs aplenty. I’m not sure if they help these restless spirits cross over to the light tho’ like what Melinda did. One thing for sure, Melinda did it with style, lots of drama and F.O.C coz she owned a Antique shop and helping spirits is just a hobby..like me and my craft.
 
There are quite a few techniques on how to see ghosts. Most are just plain silly. Like smearing a black dog’s tears on your eyes. Some say it has to be a horse. Kids, don’t smear anything on your eyes. You might end up with an infection. I also heard that surviving an suicide attempt can also open your eyes. DON’T EVEN TRY TO DO THAT!
 
The fact is the ghosts in Ghost Whisperer are nothing like the real deal. I know. I speak from experience and it’s damn scary. Imagine seeing someone sitting next to you while you’re driving or man hanging from a tree with his tongue sticking out or a man walking around with no head or a black tall black creature staring at you. Terrifying. Anyway attempting to talk to them might put you at risk of them following you around. You wouldn’t want that. A wise woman once told me..if you see a spirit or a ghost..don’t look at them in the eyes. If they can see their reflection in your eyes then they know you are able to see them. Unless if they want you to see. But then anyone with a sane mind would want to avoid looking at them.
 
Now..i know many of you are interested in this phenomenon. The ability to see ghosts. Some people were born with this curse/gift and for those who are not, the easiest way is to attain a meditative state and enter the spiritual world. That means opening your third eyes. Well, if you are really interested, maybe you can try this meditation. Do tell me if it works because not only you can see the spirit world but some say you can see beyond the universe. Cool. I wonder how Mars really look like.
 
Joke aside..ask your self this. Do you you really want to see the other side..the spiritual world..are you ready?

Everything seems so easy..from the member registration to setting up your Booth. Yup, they call them Booth, not store. Original don’t you think? It’s like setting up a booth stall at a bazaar sell or flea market.
 
What’s better is listing your items are totally free UNTIL you sold something. Then you will have to pay for the fee and the fee is way cheaper than ebay. Awesome. So you can list as many item as you want and i saw someone with over a thousand items. You can also sell anything you want. That vintage handbags, your golf set..anything.
 
They also have these cool affiliate programs such as Syndicated Seller Program where they’ll help find buyer for your items. Just tell them how much you willing to pay for the commission if your item sell.
And another one is the Bonanzle Affiliate Program where you find buyer for someone else items or products. You post the Bonanzle items in your blog or website and refer people to that item. If that item sell, you’ll get paid your referral commissions. Something like that.

How about that, just found out ( yeah my info was a teeny bit outdated! Bite me!) that David Slade, the Director of one of my favorite movie ” 30 days of Night” is the one directing Eclipse! Hmm…how about that. Does this mean more fighting..less talking? I don’t like Twilight, New Moon Okay..i hope Eclipse will blow those two away. I mean it’s David Slade!!
 
So i went and look for the tailer on YouTube and hmmm…quite impressive i must say. It’s about time they have some kind of fighting. I mean they’re vampires with super enhanced abilities. Whatever. If you read Breaking Dawn so-called fight scene or whatever at the end..it was a total letdown. You keep reading, expecting some big supernatural fights but all you get was Bella’s..hmm ( forgot what, memory a bit rusty ).. something elastic rubber band kind of protection thing .
 
Anyway my lovelies..enjoy the trailer. .But what the hell is up with Jasper’s hair? Where is his Twilight hair? Sigh..another mystery like the Bermuda Triangle.
 

Last night couldn’t sleep so i made this..my Emma Pillsbury inspired flower necklace. Something that she would wear. Made of Polymer clay..i’m not sure why i picked the color white since i dislike working with white clay. Everything have to be clean. Can’t touch anything else but that white clay. If you must touch something, make sure you have baby wipes with you.
 
I added white Swarovski pearls. Pretty.
 

 

 

 

 

A Twilight Fan asked me to do a custom made twilight keepsake box and since she’s on Edward’s team, i decided to make her a decoupaged Edward’s Box. It turned out quite okay. It took me 2 days to make this but it was worth it.
 
This was my first decoupage project..the last one was about 10 years ago i think. I will make more keepsake boxes. Stay tuned. But i do made another one just like this one and will be put up for sale in my store soon.

Hi there my lovelies..yesterday i accidentally stumbled upon this lovely template..i just have to have it and i did. Isn’t it adorable? Girly..yeah i know. Wow..it’s been a while my lovelies. I’ve been pretty lazy but one of my new year resolution is to actually maintaining this site. Must keep promise.

So it’s 2010. So futuristic don’t you think. Nice. I really enjoyed December 2009. Balik kampung, played rummy (RM15.00 game) and family gathering. It was fun. But it was also ‘Supernatural’ month for me. I got addicted with the show and watched the DVDs from season 1 to season 5. Lets talk about ‘Supernatural’ shall we.
 
Dean & Sam Winchester. Brothers who track, hunt and kill demons, vampires (not the twilight type) , ghost and other supernatural beings. So much fun. Mom was murdered by a yellow eyed demon when Sam was 6 mths old. Dad vowed revenge. Raised his sons the military ways..to be warriors. Trained  them with whatever skills necessary. You won’t want to pick a fight with these boys. They can really kick ass. Once 18, Sam rebelled and refused to join the fun demon hunt. Oh he rebelled all right, he went to college and get straight A’s and went to law school and got engaged. That’ll show Dad. Dad was like pissed off. No son of his going to be someone successful and going to lead a normal life. No sirreee. But then Dad went missing, Dean asked Sam for help. Sam helped and while he’s gone, his fiance was murdered by the same demon. Sam vowed revenge. So he agreed to travel the country hunting for demons. So the journey began.You want to know what happened? You have to watch the series. Few interesting tidbits just for fun..
 
Sea salt are handy to have around. Just in case a demon or ghost decided to come visit uninvited.
 
If you smell sulphur..that means demon has just left the building.
 
If you get cold all of a sudden, beware..there is a ghost around. This one maybe apply for Americans only.
 
Angels can pull you out from hell and they are not the “Touched by an Angel” type. Nope. Angels are warriors of God. They can be brutal. And they can put you to sleep or send you away by just touching you. Castiel the angel can touch me anytime
 
Anyway. Season 5 has only 8 episodes. It’s killing me..the waiting game..but guess i’ll just have to wait then.

WTF is wrong with this snatch thieves idiots !!! What if she is YOUR pregnant wife? Ever think of that? She’s two months pregnant!! I hope you assholes burn and rot in hell! I could go on and on and rant my head off but i won’t and i should stop. I don’t want MY blood pressure up because of these killers..not worth it.

Needless death: Jamilah Selamat was only 31 and two months pregnant when she died at the hands of a snatch thief.

JOHOR BARU: The killers on motorcycles have done it again — this time, snatch thieves took two lives when they tried to rob pregnant Jamilah Selamat.

Jamilah, 31, suffered severe head injuries after falling from her motorcycle on Sunday. She died at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital at 7.30am yesterday without regaining consciousness.

Her husband of seven months, trader Razali Ahmad, 41, was a distraught man yesterday.

For him, the tragedy was harder to take because he had just started to taste happiness again after five years when his first wife died of cancer.

The tragedy also leaves Jamilah’s two children from her first marriage — Norasyikin Salleh, seven, and Mohd Khairi Ridwan Salleh, five — without their mother. They looked dazed and clung to their crying stepfather.

Razali said he was told by an eyewitness — his older brother’s friend — that his wife had hit the pavement face first and did not move after that.

“The witness told me that he saw two men on a motorcycle flee the scene immediately after Jamilah fell, and her bag was nowhere to be seen,” he told reporters at the hospital mortuary yesterday.

Razali said Jamilah, a handicraft dealer, was on her way home to Taman Mekar after work that day.

Jamilah had lost her handbag to snatch thieves last year but escaped unharmed. A friend advised her to twirl the handbag around the rearview mirror for a tighter hold.

That move may have been fatal.

In mourning: Razali with his stepchildren Norasyikin and Mohd Khairi at the mortuary yesterday.

When the snatch thieves grabbed Jamilah’s bag, they pulled her motorcycle, causing Jamilah to fall.

“I never thought that I would lose her this way. We were expecting our child, we have only been married for seven months … I lost my first wife to bone cancer and now, I have lost Jamilah and baby,” he said.

Razali has two teenage children from his previous marriage.

Jamilah and the unborn child were buried at the Ayer Hitam cemetery yesterday.

Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Ibrahim Arif confirmed police received a report on the incident.

Eyewitnesses are urged to contact the police hotline at 07-2212999.

In 2004, a Nanyang Siang Pau clerk, Chong Fee Cheng, 37, died after she lapsed into a coma following a snatch theft in Taman Molek, Johor Bahru.

In December last year, snatch theft victim Lim See Nya, 58, was run over by a three-tonne truck when she lost her balance and fell onto the road, after a motorcycle pillion rider grabbed her handbag in Bukit Mertajam.

Is this creepy or what?! I know that it’s a hoax but you know things like this can actually happen. And that is the scary part. You never know.

There has been a small outbreak of “zombism” in London due to mutation of the H1N1 virus into new strain: H1Z1.

Similar to a scare originally found in Cambodia back in 2005, victims of a new strain of the swine flu virus H1N1 have been reported in London.

After death, this virus is able to restart the heart of it’s victim for up to two hours after the initial demise of the person where the individual behaves in extremely violent ways from what is believe to be a combination of brain damage and a chemical released into blood during “resurrection.”

The World Health Organization (WHO) has raised the alert to phase six, its highest level, and advised governments to activate pandemic contingency plans.

In the latest developments:

* The Netherlands confirms its first case of zombie swine flu, in a three-year-old boy recently returned from Mexico. After passing away early this morning, he rose from the dead and lunged at his mother.
* Ghana has become the latest country to ban pork imports as a precaution against swine flu, though no cases have been found in the West African country
* China’s health minister says that the country’s scientists have developed a “sensitive and fast” test for spotting swine flu in conjunction with US scientists and the WHO. The country has recorded no incidence of the flu yet. There methods, however, have been uneffective in spotting the H1Z1 strain.

At the meeting of health ministers in Luxembourg, a French proposal for a continent-wide travel advisory for Mexico will be discussed.

SYMPTOMS – WHAT TO DO
Swine flu symptoms are similar to those produced by ordinary seasonal flu – fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, chills and fatigue
If you have flu symptoms and recently visited affected areas of Mexico, you should seek medical advice
If you suspect you are infected, you should stay at home and take advice by telephone initially, in order to minimise the risk of infection

It is unclear whether the EU executive has the power to impose a travel ban.

Several countries have restricted travel to Mexico and many tour operators have cancelled holidays.

Other members are resisting calls to implement travel bans or close borders, on the grounds – backed by the WHO – that there is little evidence of their efficacy.

The EU ministers will also try to agree on how to refer to the new virus.

The European Commission has been calling it “novel flu”, replacing the word “swine” to avoid prompting a fall in demand for pork and bacon.

Umm..This movie is about vampires..more like godlike vampires to me and this one is more romance than gory. Dear god please don’t ever let there be a zombie romance movie!! I’ll just die!
 
Okay..forgive me if i get the movie info messed up but here’s my take on Twilight. It’s about a family of vampires, the Cullens. Crucifix, garlic and sun does not have any effect on them. But they cannot be out in bright light or direct sunlight because apparently they glow or sparkle like diamonds. This makes them pretty you see..so it’s dangerous for them to be seen sparkling..they might be mistaken for diamonds. Dangerous thing there.  They’re a thousand times stronger than man, with super speed , their senses and beauty enhanced and they’re expert in climbing trees. Not even a apes can compete with them. They don’t sleep or eat. If they do eat, it’s for show. I’m not sure whether they poop or pee tho’. Let’s just leave it at that okay.
 
It all started when a girl name Bella ‘i so want to be a vampire’ Swan moved in with her Dad in  a small town call Folks. It’s always raining and cloudy there. Ummm..i like rain. Okay moving on. She met the Cullens in the school cafeteria. There’s Rosalie (the beauty..it’s true, that is her power) married to Emmett (the big strong one). Then there’s Jasper (the wickedly sexy Cullen that can manipulate emotion) and his wife of like 100 years, Alice (who can see the future). And the love of Bella’s life, Edward ( the brooding one who can read minds) but somehow unable to read Bella’s mind. This what attracted him to Bella in the first place. Then there’s the ‘Dad’, Dr.Cullen and wifey Esme.
 
So the whole premise of this film is Edward trying to avoid Bella but ended up stalking her. Bedroom scene..creepy. Everytime she sees him she went all . You can practically see her drooling. One day after he saved her from a runway car with his super speed and strength..that’s it for Bella. Her heart went flying straight to Edward’s hands. Meanwhile how cute is Jasper and Alice. Too bad they’re vampires..they should repopulate the world with cute vampire babies. Okay moving on. So this other guy..umm..Jacob is so into Bella but she’s not into him. But he was the one who told her about the Cullens’ secret. This is the story he heard from his family on how a werewolf and a vampire made a truce, that they should stick to their own territory. Jacob warned her to stay away. But did she listened? Nope. Eventually Edward and Bella became lovers and explored every trees in Folks.
 
What is a movie without the bad guys eh? Came kacau daun are the 3 badass vampires James, Laurent and Victoria. James is a tracker and after finding out that Edward is protecting Bella a human, that excites him. So he lures her into a trap by claiming he is holding her mother  Renee hostage. Of course Edward found him before he manage to kill her. The fight scene was nothing to shout about. Bang here crash there. A letdown actually. Dr. Cullen manage to persuade him to not kill James and told him to go to Bella’s side, he asked his other sons big guy Emmett and sexy Jasper to do the deed. Edward manage to suck out all the venom..then they went to the prom and meanwhile bad girl Victoria watching them from afar plotting her revenge. Too much romance not enough fighting. I don’t mind if the romance is between Jasper and Alice coz the chemistry is wicked. Unlike Edward and Bella. Don’t get me talking about Emmett and Rosalie, they have zero chemistry. Blah. This movie is not for me and i only watched it because 1st i thought there’ll be biting and stuff ( Sorry, never read the book) and 2nd for the cute Jalice (Jasper and Alice). Adorable. Here are the interview they made where they talked about the Cullen Crest. Amazing chemistry..better than Mulder and Scully.

Hmm..read in the paper today (from Sin Chew Daily) that toy boys are quite the in ‘thing’ right now for rich tai tais.
 

TOY boys are the new craze in Singapore nightclubs, Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported.

The newspapers reported yesterday that rich men’s wives did not mind paying the toy boys RM3,500 each to spend an evening with them.

If the women want to bring the boys out for supper, they will be charged RM350 an hour.

A regular patron, Madam Wang, 42, said she had to visit the toy boy clubs daily, failing which she would feel uneasy.

Admitting that her family would break up if her businessman husband found out about her “hobby”, Madam Wang said she could not keep herself away from the clubs.

When met by reporters at a club, Madam Wang was with a Thai toy boy.

She said: “He makes me feel young, something which my husband fails to do.”

Checks with several toy boys found that they also offer sexual services if asked by the women.

A popular toy boy may earn about RM4,600 a night, said one of them.

 
With the current economic situation, glad to know some people are not effected by it. One fella even said that he earned RM4,500 A NIGHT! ONE NIGHT! He must be working real hard..he he. I’ll bet it is not easy to satisfy a rich woman. Husbands take notice.

Everyday i’ll cook soup and rice for my kids but as i was cleaning my microwave oven..it’s been collecting dust. I noticed a menu for quick soup. Umm..how come i never notice that? ( I only use it to thaw and reheat and sometimes steam) . Anyway it’s pretty basic and simple. Just add everything in a small casserole, put it in the microwave and press menu 6. After about 20 mins my soup is done. I bought the microwave like 3 years ago with the intention of baking cakes..well after we bought it, my baking cake phase were gone..Hubby was ” what la..thought you going to bake a cake? What happened?” It was a really good microwave..it basically can do everything..bake, grill, roast..a complete package. Mom said what a waste. Well my interest come and go..just like that.
